C'mon Mandrake, U are the man for this task !!!!
Honestly Lata, with the sort of song you have put up, even Mandrake is going to need a combined dose of Dabur Chyawanprash, Baidyanath Shankhapushpi and Hamdard Cinkara. -Dhananjay |

QUOTE(Lata @ Jun 17 2005, 11:06 PM) Sorry, saw this just now. No, this is no oont.. Compared to Dnyaneshwar, I am not even an ant... You are not asking to translate a marathi song. You are asking for an ancient language to be decoded. Go elsewhere, guys and gals... let me 'rust in piece' Self - belief is the most potent force.

You are welcome, friends. My apologies that it was a rush job. This isn't marathi as spoken today. So I had to draw upon whatever I could remember that I had studied years ago.
Perhaps, in time, the other words too will come back... Self - belief is the most potent force.

And a big thanx to Mandrake for the lion's share of the translating. I understand Marathi though it has been 23 years since I spoke it; this was way above my abilities. |
