Hi All Talat sahab fans

As everyone is aware, the site http://talatmahmood.net is developed by his son Khalid Mahmood. In the download section, there
are 2 zip files of great interest to all fans of Talat sab. One with his solo songs and another with his duets. Both the zip files are like 600 MB or bigger. I tried downloading them but the d/l rate is extremely slow and the connection dies out after downloading say 100 or 150 MB.

Has anyone successfully downloaded any of the above 2 zip files ?

Thanks

Best Regards
Parag

No, however I did download "Keh rahi hai raat" again and compared
it with previous download. The older version sounded better.
so I deleted the newer download.
however "Duniay jeena hi padega" sounds good which is new download.
seems to be different length from Mahesh's upload.
You can always compare with mahesh's uploads.
Both songs are from Hydrabad Ki Nazneen (1952)

Yes. Prof Surjit Singh has done so. And for the convenience of
others he has sliced the big files into many smaller ones which
are available for downloading from his website.

Yes, I know I saw that when I went to download the file.
Since I did comparison between the "Keh rahi hai raat" files.
I will probably do it individually.
THe website was already slow.
Plus I am not in fast broadband which
limits my downloading big files.
