No I havent seen any myself but heard many stories. I will share 4 of them today.
1. There's this restaurant here in a city named Half Moon Bay which is about 15-20 mi from where I live. There's a restaurant named Moss Beach Distillery (little north of hwy 92 on hwy 1) and there have been stories that there's a ghost of a lady in blue dress who haunts that restaurant. I watched a documentary on it that said that many people have seen the door and windows of restaurant move even when there was no wind. The bowls in the kitchen move on their own too said one of the waitress who has been working there since years. One time 2-3 kids were playing near the cliff where the restaurant is located and one of them has believed to be saying that some lady came to him and asked him to get away from the edge of the cliff and she was wearing a blue dress. Him or anyone else never saw that lady again. 2. Many many old mansions in Britain are haunted by ghosts of old kings and queens. 3. White house has a ghost of Abraham Lincoln that lives in the presidential bedroom. 4. Titanic happened to have a mummy on board when it sank. There's very long story of this mummy and the lady whose deadbody it carried. It appears that ever since that lady had died in US her ghosts never let anyone nearby live peacefully. The owner of the mummy (who had bought it from a museum) died in accident and his family inherited the mummy. Later more and more problems came over their family and someone suggested it was the mummy. They returned the mummy back to some other museum in Europe and there were more deaths of employees in museum. Later on one of the rich persons bought the mummy and was bringing it with him to US when it went down on the ocean floor along with thousands of other people destroying such a big ship. |

This is almost eerie
I read this topic yesterday and while going back from work to home, my friend and I got a little delayed and were late - so I dropped her near her house and carried on - the autorickshaw driver is a known person since we see him often in the stand near our office. We enquired to him what had happened to our usual driver who is often around at that time when we take the auto rickshaw. This driver said, that our old driver was not well for the last 3 days - reason is... He just mentioned what had happened - just a few days back, around 11 pm in the night the auto driver was returning home from a fairly long distance trip and almost reached his house when a young lady in her early twenties, stopped him and requested him to take her to the place from where he had just returned - he was reluctant to go since it was late and he had almost reached home. She pleaded him and he felt bad and so he agreed to take her - once she reached the destination - she even gave'him the house number etc - when said she did not have the requred change and can she go upstairs collect it and pay him. She went into the building and after waiting for 5 minute the driver asked the watchman of the building - the watchman had not seen anyone going inside so he refused to let the driver go in - finally he reluctantly called the house owner of the flat which the driver mentioned. The elderly man who met him was shocked to hear the story - as the person whom the driver described was exactly that of his daughter who had died 6 years back. - that too almost at the spot where the driver picked her up - in an accident - he took the driver up and paid him Rs.100/- and showed him the photo of his daughter. It was the same person who travelled in this auto, but she was DEAD for last 6 years. Can you imagine the dirver's shock and disbelief... I met him personnaly today and heard the story from him again since our previous driver told him that I was looking out for him. Anyway, after three days of fear, he was back to normal and back to work. He confessed to me that HE NEVER EVER USED TO BELIEVE IN GHOSTS, but would do so FROM NOW ON after this experience. He said he would even take us to the building where he left the girl. I bet one of these day, I would go and see and find out if the story is really true... With you I am still filled with light
And all my feelings dance. You are my song, my wings, my flight, My truth and my romance. |

WOH KAUN THI? It was an interesting story. The human mind's imaginative powers are beyond the realms of imagination. It runs wild.
Ripley's "Believe It or Not" were very interesting stories too. "The moment we want to believe something, we suddenly see all the arguments for it, and become blind to the arguments against it."
"Reading made Don Quixote a gentleman, but believing what he read made him mad. " "You'll never have a quiet world till you knock the patriotism out of the human race. " George Bernard Shaw |

Old men get scared easily. Weak nerves. Waise do not believe much of what Unni says--after a round of his favourite elixirs he sees visions everywhere. Ask GKS and Vivz!!!!
