Oye Sonu Mate, welcome to gayaki tabela, I learnt how to record by reading arvinji’s articles over at esnips, so I’ve just copied and am pasting here for U’r info

har kam ke liye alag mic ki zaroorat hoti hai , koi mic bahut sharp (highs, treble ) sound deta hai to koi bass jyada deta hai, dynamic mic (bade head wale) bass achha dete hain to pc ke mic (condensor mic) mid aur highs achhi dete hain.

ab humain dekhna hoga ke humare liye kaunsa mic achha hai ? agar apni aawaz main natural bass hai to condensor PC Mic) ko bhi aage peeche kar ke achha result nikala ja sakta hai,

bhari voice walon ko mic se thoda door muh rakhna chahiye aur jinki voice main bass kum hai unko voice sambhalte hue nazdeek se gana chahiye.

record karte waqt multi track bhi aajmaye ,jaise ek galti hone par doosare track parsirf utna hi gayen jitna galat hua ho aur wahin se gayen pahle track main jo galat hai usko cut karen aur mute kar dein. ye koi aasan kaam nahin hai , doosari baar gate waqt ye dhayan rakhna hota hai ki aawaz , feel ,sur , level, josh sabhi pahle jaisa hi ho . warna pol patti khul jayegi. (sab kahenge aya bada/ ayi badi ., sab to dikh sorry sun raha hai) ek baat hai ke tukade tukade main gana aajye to PLAYBACK singer ban na fix hai. Ha ha hee hee. ( playback singers mujhe maren ge to aap sab aaoge na bachane ? please)
yaad rakhen ek baar gake upload kiya aur bade singer ban gaye to ye na ho ke apne gane delete karne pade . char baar suno , achhi recording seekho, (achhi recording hi gana aage sun ne ka reason hoti hai) phir upload karo.
mujh se kisi bhi bat par kuch poochna ho , to main humesha hazir hun, ( kabil samjen to)


Recordings ke liye MIC ki quality achhi hona bahut hi zaroori hai, kyonki agar mic aapki aawaz ko sahi tarah se electrical signals main nahi convert karega to aapki aawaz ki bareekiyan recordings main nahi pata chalegi, Mic aisa hona chahiye jo low side main 50Hz aur High side main 14KHz freq cover kar sake, SURE ka SM58 MIC ho to achha hoga,

Recording ke liye software ki baat aisi hai ke jo software pe kaam karna aasan lage wahi achha hai. Main software ko itana important nahin maanta jitna ke uske user ko , karaoke recordings ke liye koi khas software ki jaroorat nahin hoti , bas do ya teen tracks mix ho saken aisa koi bhi software chalta hai, use software main echo ,reverb ,EQ.etc ho aur kuch jyada nahin chahiye.

PC par apne songs record karne ke liye koi bhi P4 PC chalega , koi khas card ki ya khas mic ki zaroorat nahin hai , (Music album banana hai sell karna hai to fir ye mat padho STUDIO main jao , Unke bhi to bal bachhe hain na)

Ek microphone (aj kal China ke Bahut mil jatein hain 300/- tak ka) .

Ek achha Amplifier aur speakars ka set.

Mixcraft software . jo sabse asaan hai .

Main P 3 500MHz aur onboard sound card par recordings karta hun , Mixcraft use karta hun , sirf maine mere liye ek mic mixer design kiya hai jisme mic input deta hun , baki sara daromadar aapke oopr depend karta hai ke aap kis tarah ke aap mic par kis tarah se gaate ho , aapki aawaz main kitna throw hai , aap Input ko overload ya phir bahut kum to nahin le rahe ? ( agar Input hi achha nahin hoga to aap kitna process karoge ? sirf noise hi badega)

Voice ke baad karaoke track ko aap kis tarah se blend karte hain voise ke saath wo bhi bahut zaroori hai. 50 50 ek achhi shuruaat hai.

Gaate waqt track ke scale ka dhayan rakhna bahut zaroori hai , agar track dull ho to usko EQ ya koi achha plugin use kar ke bright kiya ja sakta hai. Ab saara khel mixing ka hai

friends, my 3-month old hard drive died taking with it all of 500gb I had not taken backup in the last 6 months, so i guess 150 gb might have got lost.

coming to anwar mian's post on microphone, i reiterate that a good investment in a pro mic pays in the long run. I use one of the best mics Shure SM-58 Ohh mera to raaz khul gaya!

pad liya tutorial . kaafi acha likha hai. Actually ab time hai test karne ka. Ghar per koi na koi hota hai.......issliye yeh sab test karne ka moka nehi mil raha. ( gaana etc).

jis din ghar per koi na hua mazak udaane wale.......uss din riyaaz bhi hoga. .....aur rehersal aur final take aur recording bhi hoga. aur cassette bhi niklega( i mean mp3upload ;- ) ) lol

OMG Harish why did you have to drop such a bomb shell, your mic is the top’s

Seriously U’r mic puts mine to complete shame, I will not even mention mine

My only regret is, I wished I had forked a little bit more and chosen a condenser mic, due to my Bassy Voice

I find this Dynamic mic doesn’t pic up, expressions and high pitches well enough, and from reading Arvind bhai;s posts the voice clarity is supposed to be superb on the condenser mic’s ah well never mind

Bash U know what I’m thinking........I’m thinking lets do Antakshari, just casually record a few lines and upload it (no practice, riyaaz, biyaaz, no need for Sur, Taal, Diction blah blah etc) no one here is interested in competition....it’ll take seconds to record and upload at esnips then attach media player over here

awesome singing anwarmian! very sweetly and lovingly sung. a pleasure after such a long time. i thought it was singing more in anwar's style than rafi style. i felt, u found it difficult to hit the higher notes. it sort of managed to reach there! in the second para (first/second line) i thought you actually were out of sur at a couple of places, something i have never heard fm u before. did u try your 100% there? or a bit of 'chalta hai' attitude?

btw, i met OMkar in 'brick and mortar' shape (i mean not online) last week when he came to my house

Guilty I sung it in a practice session and thought that’ll do…he he he….U’r right bro, I enjoyed singing and just let go.....Chalta Hai Innit and as for sur, well…He He He no idea what one of them is…yes it is a love tribute to Rafi Sahab …I’ve never heard Anwar singing this song…but being a fan I suppose it wud have influenced some of my singing…but I am a Rafi Fan before Anwar (without Rafi there is no anwar or Sonu etc)…I see him as the best Rafian ever, lol I’m I digging myself out here…harish Bhai it has been great to hear from you again..ek bahana hai, have you stopped singing or what…I thought I wud never attempt anything it is flippin hard with all the work an family commitments….anyways nice to hear about omkar bhai he he he Brick and Mortar he he….lets do a tribute for July 31 should manage some thing eh

Yes it is a beauty, sooo many nights I have slept to this song before being married …Harish Bro you will have to abstain from you know what for a long time if you want to sing like that…getting in that romatic moood…Wa Wa Weeee

I fink I'll have ago at possibly Pukarta Chala Hoon Main or Teri Aankhon Ke Siva or Zindagi Bhar Nahin Bhulegi or a really sad sad heartbreaking Aaj Purani Rahon Se...undecided yet, keep it touch though...lets also discuss any problems we are experiencing with any songs....it has just occurred to me about certain vowels...there are some vowels that impossible to hit at high notes but slight alteration of vowels during practice sessions helps progam vocal muscles for when you have to sing em...am i right? I'll have a go at that

Harish Bhai, maine ek aur try mari hai…man…I learn some thing different and new from every Rafi Song…as a listener I just used to enjoy the song but when you start paying attention to each and every detail and then try and sing it then only you can truly appreciate Rafi Sahabs art……what U up 2?
