Hi,

How many of us know well the meaning of the abbreviations use by members of HF in thier threads?

I believe %age would lesser than expectation.

I listed out below of such kind of chat slangs along with their meaning. Moreover, I also placed here the symbols/characters to know how to create smiley with. Hopefully you would like.

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

Your list is missing perhaps one of the most common ones: LMAO which is short form of LMFAO. Perhaps it's a parent approved list.....

Anyways when I first started learning this language some years back, my source was:

they still are one of the best! Wow that site sure has expanded since I visited it last!!!
