I tried but couldn't download the flash games on the site
www.scenta.co.uk/games.cfm It has nice small games, e.g. Reverse. If anybody could help with any ideas I will be thankful. |

You cannot download a flash games, I was able to go to that site and open the Reverse game, its a different story that I didnt knew how to play the game , so as soon as it starts it says you failed... Anyway I have almost all the games from popcap.com and gamehouse.com (and that too full versions!  ) |

Actually the problem is not with the Popup.
If I open the View Source of the Reverse game HTML (Though I have it from other site, but tried downloading from this site, so as to know what is preventing from me in getting other games of this site), I find /http://www.scenta.co.uk/_db/_gamescenta/ site/file_upload/scenta_game_26.swf (The slash is just to avoid the auto URL syntax, to avoid referral address) But If I download this specific file using a download tool like NetTransport i Get a HTML file instead of the SWF (Shockwave) file. Most probably the server intercepted that the call was not from its own HTML and so returned a HTML page instead of the binary file SWF. That's the problem I have to resolve. Thanks for any help on this. Note: Reverse is an excellent game to pass time and I have completed all its 20 levels. If anyone is interested I will upload the same of around 30KB size. It is a bit tough game to start with but is a real nice one too. |

Yes you got the file, but it cannot be played back(using IE or any SWF player). The simple reason is it is an HTML file with SWF extension.
If you open the file in Notepad you will see the HTML code which is the first page of the site. |
