I have a cassette of the concert in my hometown. I can give you a copy of the cassette later this month, if that'll do for you.

I'll be trying to convert cassettes into mp3, and if it works, I'd upload the tracks. But if it doesn't, then I'd send you the cassette by post.

Brilliant concert... I too have all the 3 cassettes back home. A good reminder. I am particularly fond of a few Ghulam Ali numbers in this album where he starts off with a shaayri before the actual ghazal. The way he's sung "Hangama hai kyon Barpaa" and "Para Para hua" in this concert is breathtaking.

Uploading of this 3 volumes are next ti impossible , even with less bitrate and splitting them into 2 or 3 files , it comes out to be more than 25-30 uploads all togather... Bahaaron ko chaman First of all, a HUGE thanks both to the guy who started this thread (I never heard of this joint performance before), and to you for undertaking this great exercise. Thank you. As for splitting files, there are many utilities out there. Check out http://www.hhdsoftware.com/filesplitter.html or one of http://freeware.intrastar.net/filesplit.htm Just let us know which one you use to split the file, so we can splice back together!! I know this is a lot of work, but fellow HFers will be grateful. Esp. folks like me for whom it is difficult to procure the original CD. Regards -Manoneet |

File splitting ke liye itna takleef uthaane ki zaroorat nahiin hai. Our winrar will do the job just fine and everyone at HF has it, so splicing together back is no problem. Use the wizard function in winrar and specify the file size as 10M in the box when it asks if you want to split the file. Winrar will automatically decide how many parts to split into based on the file size.

But if this one is easily avialble, I shall not u/l this one...
