Aditya Ji
Thanks for the upload. One forgets just how talented (if unconventional) S D Burman was. This is a pretty good reminder! You can be sure your upload is playing somewhere in Sydney, Australia tonight! Kind Regards Faraaj I just noticed that the best song Tere Saath Chal Rahe Hain is in *.m4a format. Can you please post an mp3 or wma version or tell me how to convert the file you uploaded without any quality loss? Thanks again friend! This post has been edited by Faraaj73: Nov 29 2008, 04:48 PM Kind Regards Faraaj Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo There is only one better thing than music - live music. - Jacek Bukowski I hate music, especially when it's played. - Jimmy Durante No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible. - W. QUOTE Uploading a few songs from Angarey (1954), composed by S D Burman 1. Apna Bana Le Singer: Asha Bhosle bit rate: 112 kbps Duration: 03:44 which song is this????-it's not from this movie here are 2 more songs to complete the album The song listed as "Apna Bana Le" in Aditya's post is actually the first one you have uploaded in *your* post: "pyaar bulaaye tohe". The line "apanaa banaa le" comes in about halfway through the song. By the way, you need to correct the singer's name in your post: it *is* Asha, not Lata; Talat is in the song only in for a few "alaap" pieces. Aditya: the file you have uploaded is actually a compound of two songs: it starts halfway through the "pyaar pukaare tohe" song and them, mid-file, moves on to the second song uploaded by cinemaniac2 above: "ruup kii raanii aayii" by Shamshad Begum and chorus. Since cm2 has now uploaded both these songs, it may be best to remove that file from your uploads. Thanks a ton for the thread and for the songs! It is a great but rarely heard album by SDB. cm2 - thanks for the 2 remaining songs. Warm regards, Abhay This post has been edited by abhayp: Nov 30 2008, 02:40 PM |
