Hi everyone,
I am very happy to announce the start of a Shoutcast stream of our family's music featuring old and new songs of my father Pandit Shiv Dayal Batish, some of my own recordings and the music of my sister Meena Batish. I hope you will all tune in at your convenience and enjoy our latest efforts.
If you have any mp3s of my father's filmi or private recordings please email them to me and I will start airing them. If any of you would like to do a whole show on him I will be happy to air that too.

My DSL line can handle about 50 streams and eventually I will have to upgrade my server. Any suggestions are welcome.

A HF radio by our own Mahesh just a few weeks ago was the inspiration to start Ragmala Radio. So thank you Mahesh! Please send some of those songs to me ASAP

It is working on my side. You will need Winamp or Real Player to listen. The site has been up and running for about 48 hours now. Can you please try again and PM me?

I tried it with Winamp, Real Player and Quicktime. They are all working although the best signal is on Winamp.

Try this ......
I have installed a link directly on http://www.ragmala.com that will give you access to three different players that will play the stream right off the main page. The choices are Windows Media PLayer, Real Player and WinAmp. The first two I've made as embeded players and for WinAmp you will need to download the software.
I hope this helps. I'm having a great time programming and hope to do some live shows in the future.
