Hi Everyone
I hope someone can help! Back in the early 80's I watched an early 70's movie on video (cannot remember the film title) in which its opening sequence featured a rock & roll style song by Lata on Hema Malini. If I remember Hema was playing tennis during the scene. The song was very catchy, music was good, but to my surprise I've never heard this song played on the Radio etc.. Does anyone know what song I'm talking about ?? This post has been edited by TAZ: Sep 10 2010, 08:43 AM |

Hi Aditya
Thank you so much for the reply and the attachment, I was surprised someone knew the track! This was the second time I've posted this request as nobody responded the last time round. |

Like you mentioned, the song is featured in the movie (of course), link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUlefDrQvPE
Song starts at 1:34 in the video above ...and in the film version, you have extra music (preludes). As for the song...one of my fav Lata songs...what fantastic music and what fantastic singing. Hearing Lata say "Oh Baby!" is just awesome. I would do anything to have been present in the recording studio while L-P was directing her with this song. Simply superb vocals by Lata-ji. And this song (yet again) displays how versatile LataM truly is, contrary to popular belief. This post has been edited by sani_thakur: Oct 8 2010, 12:41 PM - Music Has No Language -
