Not the first recorded, but I believe the oldest recording available.....most songs by Saigal (especially the early years) are now considered lost. Did you know, he was also a composer and Jhulana Jhulao is an example of a song he sang and composed.

Here are some very early songs of KL Saigal. If any body have any please upload.
3. Ek chota sa mandir banayain ge hum……Mohabbat ke aanso…..KL Saigol
4. Pehle to shooq mein dar-e-mekhana banoo……Zinda laash………KL Saigol
5. Kiya aap mere dard ko accha na karain ge……..Mohabbat ke aansoo……..KL Saigol
Also 1931 film Subha ka sitara had KL saigal songs.
