Pushpavilapam, sung from the bottom of heart by the great Ghantasala, is about how flowers in a garden wail pathetically over their being plucked by all, day in and day out, be it for worship or for women's hair decoration!

Whenever I hear his divine rendition of this one-in-a-million composition, my hairs literally raise with ecstasy! smile.gif

I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

Ghantasala is a great favorite singer of mine, next only to Rafi Saab!! smile.gif

In my humble opinion, he has some great qualities of Rafi Saab, namely range/scale of singing, expressiveness in singing and modulating the voice!!

I was just hearing a great old number of his. Thought I would share it with those interested.

Enjoy!
