This is the list of bhajans I go 'lattu' listening to. Most of them (upto 'pyaare darshan') are composed by Dilip Kumar Roy for the movie 'Meera' in 1945 where MS seemed to the actual embodiment of the great mediaval saint of Rajputana who gave our Bhakti Cult movement such a beautiful momentum. The rest of the bhajans were all Gandhi-ji's favourites & elevated MS to the position of the most divine bhajan-singer of the country in the 40's & 50's along with Dattatrea Vishnu Paluskar.

P.S. These songs are available in volume 2 of the 5-set 'Legends' series of MS released by RPG. I have them in cassette form & strongly reccomend you to procure one for yourself. It also has those famous chants like 'Venkateshwara Suprabhatam, Vishnu Sahasranamam, Kashi Viswanath Suprabhatham, Bhaja Govindam, Dashavataram' etc.

Even this song (jagadodharana arithi(?) yashoda) based on raag kaapi is also there in that 5-pack set.
