Hasrat had bad luck that most of sad or senti songs in SJ movies used to go to Shailendra ( though he benefited by having more romantic songs then shailendra in his kitty ! ). So you get few sad or philosphical songs by Hasrat. though he was capable of writing good stuff in this genre as well !

HASRAT was magician with catchy mukhdas and could be one of those lyricsits whose lyrics came max times in geetmala program before 1968 !


This song is from poonam film and music was given by his bhaanja - Anu malik. Anu was brilliant in his early phase. Check for instance this song. this song's violin had tunes of two of his future songs, which were popular as well.. ( can anyone guess those songs??)

This song doesnt has clear recording. ( something very much like Shankar of 70s.) you can get touch of SJ orchestra in this song. though anu malik laterz made good LP type music in 80s. !

has anyone seen this movie. is it some sad song or wat ?
