Todays program is geeta Bali special. The good news is that there was far less distortion due to loudness and no drop outs.

If somebody wants to record these programs the best tool is TOTAL RECORDER.

On Saturday Jan 21, 2012, I woke up late and missed SLBC Aap Ki Pasand during 6:30AM -6:50AM. I found that during the remaining 10 minutes when I logged in, the song played by Jyoti Parmar in Aap Ki Pasand were excellent - they were rare songs. Can anybody please share songs played during the period 6:30AM -6:50AM on Saturday?

You probably missed the first 2-3 songs. Note that I have edited out the crappy bits, like the names of the requesters, etc. Also, the distortion is quite noticeable in places. The techniki folks at SLBC apparently have no clue how to handle a graphic equaliser!

I think this laws applies only on individual songs and not on programs like this and for example geetmala ki chhaoon mein.

Todays program is only ~ 23 min because I notice that this presenter is not very good as she repeats things, take too much time and her language skills are very poor. This may not be apparent in this program but in previous program she wasted a lot of time so that this program started 7 min late. However sound distortion is on decrease which a good thing.

Excellent! Ram Ganguly was an excellent MD who contributed mightily to Film music without significant recognition. In this tribute you can hear snippets of music that were later to be used in RK films for many movies. (Raju Bharatan called "this RK Bhairavi")
