I was admiring this bowler from very long. He has proven his ability by taking 5 wickets for 59 runs in three days match against England.
After this match, he should be in Indian Test Team. He is Munaf Patel, young Indian seamer. Another seamer gujarat has produced about Irfan. |

Dhiren bhai,
Munaf Patel is indeed a great talent, hopefully he will make it to the National team soon. The selectors said he will get more chances in the coming year. Prince Ali |

What more can you ask if 4 out of those 5 wickets were clean bowled!!!
Surely a talent to watch out for. Cheers, V i V e K ...

I don't understand one thing. What's the difference between Fast-Medium qualification v/s Medium-Fast qualification? Is it just the speed? I see people like Flintoff and Harmison listed as fast-medium but Munaf Patel who, when he burst on to the scene bowling at 150Kmph is listed as medium-fast?!? Sreesanth is listed as fast-medium. So dpes that mean Sreesanth is faster than Munaf?
Anyone can shed some light? Pranav |

It should be the average speed with which the bowler bowls. And not sure why Munaf Patel is classified as Medium-Fast. Cheers, V i V e K ...

Pranav My 2 cents Slow medium:85-110 kmph av speed 100 Medium:100-130 av speed 120 fast medium:125-145 av speed 135 Fast:above 140 av speed 145 Betweem these ranges, bowlers bowl. 10-wicket haul in the match for Munaf Patel!!! I think we should see him in action in 2nd test match.
Again total 7 clean-bowled out of 10. Speaks a lot about his consistency. Cheers, V i V e K ...
