zamaane ab to Khush ho zahar ye bhii pii liyaa maiN ne

abhii zindah huN lekin sochataa rahtaa huuN Khalwat meiN
k ab tak kis tamannaa ke sahaare jii liyaa maiN ne

unheiN apnaa nahiiN saktaa magar itnaa bhii kyaa kam hai
k kuchh muddat hasiiN Kh(w)aaboN meiN kho kar jii liyaa maiN n

bas ab to daaman-e-dil chhoR do bekaar ummiido!
