Can someone please help me, I need to know how you can remove music from a song so you just have the vocals.

bro uske liye ye pata lagana padega ki remove kiya hua vocal remove hone ke baad jata kahaan hai.(kidding)---------i dont think there is any softw for removing music-----u can do it on multitarck recordings --lekin old songs se music remove karna impossible hi hai.

i am sure there is NO such a thing in this world to do that, there are some japanies karaoke machines which are designed to remove vocal tracks, but all it does is removes the signal with a high volume, but you CAN still hear the voice by 50% in the backgrounds.....when it does that, all it does is brings the rythem section up front and takes other stuff go back....it makes the song kinda like MONO...sounds weird...and same thing with computer programs, like adobe auditions 2.0 and etc....

the reason for that is, when everything is recorded at the studios , at mix down time everything is mixed back to 2 tracks of audio, so there is NO way anyone can do that, UNLESS the song was designed for KARAOKE use only, which you can MUTE any track to replace them with something else...

I am useless when it comes to using softwares etc but I know people who have been very successful in removing vocals completely from certain MONO Tracks - software is http://www.goldwave.com/, but I have yet to succeed, I just can't be asked to read the instructions

well, there are 2 issues here my friend :
1. all his karaoke tracks are from either aniruddh, vale and etc..

2. vocal tracks ONLY? very impressive , but still don't believe there is such a software to do that, i PMed him to ask him about "what PGM he has used to do that"?

most likely he is a friend of the recording engineer(he got it from the original studio) or somehow he has his connection with the studio or somehow he has his hands on those raw materials...i shall find out soon as long as he could reveal his secrets !!

but still thanks for the info....i hope there is a PGM to do that !!

Hamza is the genius responsible for these tracks he is 20 yrs lives in the US and is a student; He is no Engineer and does not have contacts with bollywood big shots.

Some guy claiming to be Antonio has prompted your question “is it possible to remove vocals or music from tracks……and the reply was “Only from DVD”

Last time I asked him what software he used, I was told it was Gold Wave, O Yee Of Little Faith (Only Kidding Matey)

I give you another example, this wonderful person (Sana) has recorded a duet with Sonu Nigam at her Birmingham home, ON HER HOME PC (she also uses Goldwave Software).

I’ve played around with this software; its not bad, but you can only remove music or vocals from certain tracks Mono or DVD’s as Hamza says. (Note: Not Good with MP3)
