Laxmikant-Pyarelal, the most versitle music directors of the Hindi Film Music, have produced mejority of the songs based on Indian Folk and Raagas. I have selected some of the best Western Style Musical scores from LP. This is my choice if any one can add to it I would welcome it. Just have a look.

"Farz Ki Qeemat " by kishore From Qeemat-1973, was based on a cult british tv series theme
and "Sathiya tu mere sapnon ka meet " from Insaan, was based on an english song Kishore songs from Amar Deep-1979 were western based "charas charas" from charas-1976, by asha "Pyar Ne Di Awaz" from Khuda Qasam theres many many more |

actually there was a song called, Hui shaam unka khayal aa gaya from mere hamdam mere dost.
In this song LP plays western music as interlude. As soon as rafi starts singing his lines, he converts into Indian classical music in a flash...listen to that song when you are alone...superb blend |

Both the films were acclaimed to be the best musical hits. LP was fantastic in Dosti particularly for Jaane Walo Zara...Chaahungaa Tujhe Main..... LP's another classicals included Sati Savitri, Sant Gyaneshwar etc. |
