This is my umpteenth post on this topic. So, once again, requesting all of you to look into your pitaras for this lovely Asha-Rafi (?) duet featuring Smita Patil and Sanjeev Kumar..."Baaton Mein na Taalo Ji......Aaahhhh!"

Would you know the name of the movie? Checked the EarthMusic Network Database of Hindi Film Songs, but it did not come up with a song with those lines.

This is from the 1986 movie "Kaanch Ki Deewar". Hmm...it might not be Rafi singing with Asha, then.

UltraIndia lists this movie, but they have not listed the song tracks. The VCD is available with them. Hopefully one of our members have either the VCD or the audio album. Let's wait and see.

Hits!!!!!! It is Rafi sahab and Asha ji. I know for sure. Coz I have seen the movie on zee cinema. Sanjeev Kumar and Smita Patel sing it.

It is a fast paced number. In fact I had recorded it using my tv tuner card grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr the hard disk of that comp had crashed .. patah nahi I cant find the number on any of my cds sad1.gif Those were the days when I used to wait and watch all crappy movies juz to record Guru, Rafi Sahab and Asha ji songs sad1.gif

I remember this song from the Chitrahaar days... We'd even recorded it in our VCR... I think it's indeed Rafisaab with Ashaji.
Funny song. Sanjeev Kumar and a sidey are trying to dance exclusively with Smita Patil, and in the process kicking and pushing each other when she's not looking. Am not sure how much Smita Patil and Sanjeev Kumar have worked with each other, but this could well be their last movie together.

I guess "fag end" is a British term which we pick up in India during school/college days. When I used this term at a legal deposition in the USA, all the attorneys had amused looks on their faces. tongue.gif
