Ashish,
This song is sung by Hemant Kumar and Shamshad begum, not by Manna Dey. A solo version is also sung by Hemant Kumar. I think it was picturized on Beena Roy. I dont have this song, if you check old posts... even I have requested for this song. I have heard it is one of the best Hemant-Shamshad duets. I have some Shamshad-Manna Duets, if you like I can upload them (It is very interesting to note that 2 of these duets r composed by Salil Chaudary) :- Teri meri hum sai phiri sari duniya - Musafir - 1957 Desi kiya videshi, gora bhi kitna acha - Lal Batti - 1957 and the song sung by 4 singers from Mother India <----- maybe you already have this one. I also have Shamshad Begum's only solo (mujra song) for Salil Chaudary :- Dil mera - na jane re - Biraaj Bahu (1954). |
