Hi.....
Well, for all the people who follow Malayalam music, P.Leela needs no introduction. She created a name for herself, with her spiritual renditions such as Narayaneeyam, Gnanapaana and many other devotional songs. She has also sung in many films. Infact, even today she is so popular, that in almost every Malayalee's home (even in many Non-Malayalee homes) you will be sure to find a copy of the Narayaneeyam sung by her!!! I'm looking for some really good devotional Malayalam songs sung by P.Leela. Hope some good souls out here, have it with them. Looking for some really good uploads..... Love Music....... LOVE GK

QUOTE(gkshyam @ Jun 20 2005, 12:11 PM) What are the chances? Between just Priya, Dileep, Hits and me? I've just a few film tracks of P. Leela. At one time I'd downloaded from the internet her rendition of "Narayaneeyam", but did not retain it. If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.

I do not have collection of P.Leela. I've recently started ripping, organising etc. May be within few weeks I can help you. I'm right now concentrating on semi classical songs of KJY.

Btw......which are the film songs you have of hers unni?? Are they of devotional content....or normal film songs? Do reply on that....Also....if they are some devotional film songs....do U/L them....would be great!!!

Due to it's considerable length, converting "Narayaneeyam" from audio tape would take considerable time. Please don't do it for my sake --- neither my Malayalam or my devotion would justify the effort. The film-songs I have are a few old classics like "Arabi kadal oru" and "Kannum pooti uranguga". Perhaps the only film devotional would be "Kani kaanum neram". Check out the attachment for converting from audio-cassette to computer. If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.

QUOTE(hits @ Jun 21 2005, 08:10 PM) QUOTE(Lata @ Jun 21 2005, 01:23 PM) Movie - Chattakkaari Music - Devarajan I believe this was the original of "Julie" The song "Kanikanum Nerum" sung by P. Leela was originally in the much older film "OMANAKUTTAN". Dunno if it was used again in "CHATTAKARI". If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.
