years ago (in late 80s) a friend had this gem of a collection in gujarati songs in which i heard this one. I've no idea who sung it (a male singer), and the lyrics go like this:
Chaal sakhi, paand-di maa jhaakal naa tipaa ni jem fari jindagi ne mukiye
tervaa no sparsh ek ghatnaa kehvaay che ke laagni ganaay em puchiye
e.e.
chaal sakhi

does anyone have it by any chance? Chitz?
janam janam no "rhuni" thai jaish, jo aa ek geet mane mali jaay!

I have no hesitation in offering trillions of thanks! to you chitralekha for putting the link of the song(i.e. in addition to putting it on HF as i could not have downloaded it from forum..i know it is wrong to say so..but this policy of trusted members is sucking..don't know how say it..but it turns me off)

BTW...I enjoyed that Vakharia site..loads of fun..Great..Respected..Shabuddin Rathod is never enough..
