This is a typical Mahendra Kapoor song- starting softly and then going high
film-Sagaai-1966 Ravi-Rajendra Kishen * Biswajeet & Rajashri Husn Aur Ishq Ke Takrane Ki Raat Aayi Hai-Mahendra Kapoor note the bitrate is very low but the song is very clear. |

Yes... but can you burn a track at this quality??? Also, I love the fact that your uploads are tagged and named and complete with all info, makes my organising job much simpler. The thing is everyone benefits if each one makes an attempt at standardisation. The only info missing in your case is the length of the song, as far as my ideas of organisation go! These are just observations and suggestions, people please don't go crazy on me ... I hate bandying insults! You must be the change you want to see in the world - Mahatma Gandhi |

I dont think so. The CD writer software will complain. Unless of course you are burning the song as mp3 and not in any audio form. One of the biggest drawbacks of lower bitrate songs.
Yes, I agree, if the uploaded file has the movie name and song name along with the singer name, life becomes much easier. For me, it makes it easy for me to add it to song library as I try to add atleast these three attributes. Gosh, I am so behing in updating my list now. :|
No worries. Everyone has a right to contribute with their input Suggestions are always welcome. Thanks. |

Was it always this prolific here or has it snowballed?? Is there any way I can be of help? I am anyways putting in efforts to organise what I get from here. Maybe we can pool our efforts? You must be the change you want to see in the world - Mahatma Gandhi |

By the way, this song is a great contender for "what to sing on your first night" types, however I guess that's limited to Rafisaab...

Tala-Kiya : I guess...uploading and complying to one's request is one thing and admistrating these compilation is another. If you think you are better in second one...go ahead. We are on the other side who just have great collection in whatever forms and just excited to share with someone who is looking for a song since years together.I would not worry about "CD QUALITY" in the first place if I could not find the song since so long... As a matter of fact if you are expecting uploads od CD QUALITY-YOU ARE BETTER OFF IN BUYING CD,MY DEAR. You must realize that there are collections in such a conditions & are beyond any repairs...forget about CD QUALIATY. I am sorry but I had to repond ..... John |

Talaikya-ji: How does this information help? And does it matter? I am a music lover, not a librarian! If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.

Dears :
Nothing matters once you have found the one which you were looking for.Any form is/should be acceptable to begin with. You may keep on looking for pertinent information once you have the song..... I would not worry about all other things..especially if you are looking for rares and free downloading...HAMARA CD comes with all tagged information if you are ready to spend... What do you think ? God is in the details My case for seeking information, quality etc etc. Let me try to explain for once and for all why – Song Length: Unniji says :
I might be a bit of both I guess . The thing is as we all have discussed in the past, many songs have a stanza or two missing. If this info is available for an uploaded song, I would find it very convenient to decide whether I wanted to download it or not. So also might many of you. When Sharad ji specifies songs as “film versions” one knows that they might be different, might contain some dialogue or be more complete. To illustrate further, there was this song you uploaded – Dheere Chal Dheere Chal (forummers' descriptions have made me want to see this picturisation - ), your version was about 3 mins long, and mine is more than 4 mins long, and I checked just to make sure, sure enough my version has an extra stanza. (In the interests of not creating duplications here, I am planning to set up a separate group in yahoo, to upload any complete versions I might have and know about, and will keep the forum informed of periodic uploads there, should anyone be interested.) When the reverse happens – then it would be in my interest to download the song, if I wanted a complete version, and I am sure most of you would feel like that, at least for some favorites. Hence I find the song length information useful. Quality: Johnji says :
Oh please don’t apologise about responding constructively, I just hate it when it gets contentious. I totally agree with rarity of songs and irreparable collections and such. I accept that. My request for a CD quality song (my definition is that which I can burn as a track) is for those that are available in that quality. I am not expecting miracles. I but ask, if people don’t want to share CD quality or if the moderators feel it takes too much space, that is fine by me. Ultimately Nehaflix and Hamaracd are always there. However sometimes even Hamaracd doesn’t have certain songs – Talat’s version of Aye Gham E Dil from Thokar or Maine Dekha Hain (Asha & Mahendra Kapoor) from Waqt, in this case I try to get as best a quality as possible, even if it means periodically repeating my requests, till someone somewhere… Yes, I offered to help compile the song library because in the end it is in the interests of all forummers, duplications would take up scarce space and people who referred the song library would readily find the gems they were seeking there. Compilation - Song Title, Movie/ Album, Singers: Which gets me to the last point. Since Chitralekhaji is putting in the effort to compile the song library, it would be considerate to atleast provide as much info about the upload as she needs there viz: Movie, Song and Singers along with the upload. If she didn’t have to go hunting for the missing information, maybe the song library would be more up to date! I too have been at fault here (I assumed that since my uploads were tagged I didn’t need to provide anymore info while uploading), which I just realized when I offered my help and started compiling one section for her. But most of us provide this information, so that’s a good sign. Did I say last… sorry… seems I have one more to go… Gratitude & Other Information: Nirasji says:
True, but if the one that uploads shares this pertinent information, then another 10 people don’t have to go looking for it, that’s how I see it. I guess my memory isn’t as good as all of yours’, so I need to rely on boring things like lists and standardization and such, maybe there are other people out there who feel like me and have my limitations, maybe not… we’ll wait and see J Bottomline: Share good quality if you can and want, share info if you can and want… else there are always other options, nobody is holding a gun to anyone’s head my dears, and believe me I am extremely grateful for all the lovely songs I get here and all the trouble people go to, to share rare music as well as individual farmaishes.
