I am not aware of it. But you can ask in India to get it recorded and send it to you. But now I also learnt that vividh bharati is available on TV too.

We are getting every Sunday a real feat from Pyarelal of Laxmikant-Pyarelal. He desperately remembers late Laxmikant. Vividh Bharati is giving real sentimental programme on Pyarelal.

Anthony Gonsalvis of Goa was Pyarelal's Guru. When Amar Akabar Anthony(1977) launchecd by Manmohan Desai, Amitabh Bachchan's name in the film was Anthony Fernandies. Since LP had already made up their mind to dediacate one of the song of the film "My Name Is Anthony Gonsalvis" to Pyarelal's Guru Anthony Gonsalvis. LP requested to change the name Anthony Fernadies and to have Anthony Gonsalvis. Also told jokingly to Amitabh Bachchan, who was present at the recording of the song, he should do his best as this is a special song dedicated to Pyarelal's Guru.

I must thank Vividh Bharati for same. This programme is likely to continue for 2 months.

Today on vividh bharati Pyarelal highlighted the friendship between RD and LP.

LP was mainly responsible for the conducting the music of RD's "Chhote Nawab" and "Bhoot Bangla" as an assistants. LP were the arranger for the song 'Jago Sone Walo Suno Meri Kahani' from "Bhoot Bangla".

At the same time when LP became indipendent music director RD Burman himself had played Mouth Organ in all the songs of 'Dosti'.....

Not only that Pyarelal also mentioned that Both Laxmikant and Pyarelal himself were the "ZABARZAST" fans of music director Shankar-Jaikishan. Laxmikant was so mad after Jaikishan that he had adopted the style of Jaikishan. Jaikishan was like a Hero for Laxmikant.

Today on Vividh Bharati Pyarelal explained what is the meaning of "Arranger". According to him this was started by Shankar-Jaikishan from "Shree 420"(1953. Pyarelal considered Mr Sabestian (Assistant to Shankar-Jakishan)was the best arranger. 'Mera Juata Hai Japani' was the first song as an arranger for Sabestian.

Pyarelal also told that both him and Laxmikant were used to work for at least 8 to 10 films with all the music directors as an assistant. LP composed and arranged the songs for Khaiyyam in "Phir Subah Hogi".. 'Aasman Pe Hai Khuda Aur Jameen Pe Hum' and also 'Wo Subah Kabhi To aaygi. Pyarelal gave extremely high regards for Khaiyyam, Jaidev, Sajjad Hussain, C. Ramchandra, Roshan etc. According to him these music directors were having their own class.

For Kalyanj-Anandaji, LP were assistant up to "Himalay Ki God Main". 'Main To Ek Khwab Houn' song was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal in which they used "French Horn" for the first time and got a very high praise from KA.

S-J inspired many duos from L-P and K-A, to other modern day duos like N-S and others. Laxmikant used to mimic Jaikishan with an upturned collar and wear his metal watch-strap loose like Jai did.

Another interesting bit from an interview with Laxmikant:

As instrumentalists did you two learn anything from the other music directors which might have helped you as composers?

We were highly impressed by C Ramchandra and Shanker-Jaikishan. Whatever inspiration we got from the latter we used it while working as assistants to Kalyanji-Anandji, since they also followed Shanker-Jaikishan. Whatever the four of us created, the fountain of inspiration remained Shanker-Jaikishan.

When we started on our own we had exhausted the juice we had squeezed from the S-J style of music. So we created our own style. In the beginning it was half S-J and half L-P. Now we are 100% L P.

Today 7th March, 2005, Pyarelal highligheted LP's association with Legend Raj Kapoor. LP had already started giving the best music to the top most Producers & Directors of their time.. like J. Om Prakash(Aaye Din Bahar Ke, '66 Aaya Sawan Zumake, 68' etc), Raj Khosla (Anita,'67 Mera Gaon Mera Desh '71 etc) Majoj Kumar (Shor, '72) and then come the biggest challange Raj Kapoor's "Bobby" '73. After Jaikishan's death Raj Kapoor was looking for the alternative for "Bobby". Who can give the exact music like SJ.

Singer Mukesh told LP that they are the first choice for "Bobby" if they refuse it will go to Kalyanji-Anajdji and third choice was R.D. Burman.

But LP took up the challange and an outstanding historical musical hit film was made. LP got Raj Kapoor's "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" '77 and 'Prem Rog' '83.

According to Pyarelal the all the three films have totally different music.

Laxmikant-Pyarelal were grate fans of Music Directors Shankar-Jaikishan. Pyarelal sportingly gave a statement today that according to him Shankar-Jaikishan is No 1... No one could give the music that SJ has given not even Laxmikant-Pyarelal. LP comes after SJ.....

He also stressed high praise for Mazarooh Sultanpuri in particular their association in "Dosti".

On Sunday (20.03.2005), Pyarelal emphasized on Laxmikant-Pyarelal’s musical variety for different types of films for various Producers and Directors after the success of “Parasmani” since 1963. He stressed that LP never repeated the same type of music again and again. The music for Raj Khosla Films (Anita, Do Raste, Mera Gaon Mera Desh etc), J. Omprakash (Aaye Din Bahar Ke, Aaya Sawan Zumke etc), Manoj Kumar (Shor, Kranti etc), Raj Kapoor (Bobby, SSS & PremRog), Shashi Kapoor, (Utsav) Girish Karnad (Sur Sangam)..were having different type of taste. Shakati Samanta’s film “Aurodh” LP composed some beautiful songs …’Aap Ke Anurodh Pe Main Ye Geet’.

Musical successful film "Milan" was re-make from Tamil Film. But the music of Milan was totally different from the original film.

When the song Yeh Jeevan Hai …”Piya Ka Ghar” was being recorded Laxmkiant was not comfortable with the atmosphere of the recording room. Laxmikant has to create the different atmosphere to suit the songs rhythm. Kishor Kumar has also tried to sing the song with some different voice.

Lata Mangeshkar- Asha Bhosle have used special effects for the song ‘Man Kyon Behaka’ of “Utsav”. During the recording of the song entire recording room unit were enjoying the singing of Lata-Asha, perhaps the last song the sisters sing together.

The violin piece in ‘Ek Pyar Ka Nagama Hai’ film “Shor” was played by N. Fernandez.
