I’m attaching some excellent songs from Naushad Ali’s first decade in what was a truly distinguished career creating some of the finest film music. Excluded are songs uploaded by me in other posts in the past few days.
I’ve deliberately disregarded the first decade by tacking on a ‘small’ song from the mid-50s which is one of my favourite of Naushad compositions or Hemant Kumar vocals. A fair few of the songs were obtained through the generous uploads of senior HF Members. As always, comments and additions are most welcome! Song: Ambuva Pe Baitha Panchi Singer: Husn Bano, Ramanand Sharma Film: Prem Nagar (1940) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 128 kbps ; Duration : 3.21 Song: Naachat Hai Sansaar Singer: Rajkumari Film: Nai Duniya (1942) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 96 kbps ; Duration : 3.04 Song: Prem Ne Man Mein Singer: Rajkumari, GM Durrani Film: Nai Duniya (1942) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 96 kbps ; Duration : 3.21 Song: Bolo Choon Chananana Chai Singer: Unknown Film: Nai Duniya (1942) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 96 kbps ; Duration : 3.19 Song: Panchi Ja Singer: Suraiya Film: Sharda (1942) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 128 kbps ; Duration : 2.42 Song: Aaye Bhi Wo Singer: Parul Ghosh Film: Namaste (1943) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 96 kbps ; Duration : 2.57 Song: Ambua Pe Panchi Bawra Singer: Parul Ghosh, G M Durrani Film: Namaste (1943) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 128 kbps ; Duration : 3.02 Song: Ghat Chayi Re Badariya Singer: Unknown Film: Namaste (1943) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 96 kbps ; Duration : 3.08 Song: Saiyan Khade More Dwaar Singer: Nirmala Devi Film: Qanoon (1943) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 128 kbps ; Duration : 2.33 Song: Ek Tu Ho Ek Main Singer: Suraiya Film: Qanoon (1943) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 125 kbps ; Duration : 3.09 Song: Aaye Jawani Singer: Suraiya, Shyam Kumar Film: Qanoon (1943) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 128 kbps ; Duration : 2.23 Song: Ek Dilwala Singer: Suraiya Film: Sanjog (1943) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 128 kbps ; Duration : 3.09 Song: Hindustan Hamara Singer: Rafi (First Song) Film: Pehle Aap (1944) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 128 kbps ; Duration : 2.56 Song: Jadoogar Balma Tore Nainon Mein Singer: Zohrabai Ambalewali Film: Pehle Aap (1944) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 128 kbps ; Duration : 2.51 Song: O Janewale Balamwa Singer: AmirBai, Shyam Kumar Film: Ratan (1944) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 192 kbps ; Duration : 2.52 Song: Jhoothe Hain Sab Sapne Suhane Singer: Manju Das Film: Ratan (1944) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 320 kbps ; Duration : 2.33 Song: Aai Diwali Aai Diwali Singer: Zohrabai Ambalewali Film: Ratan (1944) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 192 kbps ; Duration : 2.30 Song: O Jaane Wale Matwale Singer: Zohrabai Ambalewali Film: Sanyasi (1945) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 128 kbps ; Duration : 2.59 Song: Man dhol raha hai Singer: Amirbai Karnatki Film: Keemat (1946) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 160 kbps ; Duration : 2.37 Song: Jab Usne Gesu Bikharaye Singer: Shamshad Film: Shahjehan (1946) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 192 kbps ; Duration : 2.45 Song: Aayi ajal yeh zindagi Singer: Amirbai Karnatki Film: Elaan (1947) Music: Naushad Ali Format : mp3, 160 kbps ; Duration : 3.18 Kind Regards Faraaj Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo There is only one better thing than music - live music. - Jacek Bukowski I hate music, especially when it's played. - Jimmy Durante No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible. - W.
