Video-clip in Real Media of a song sequence picturized on Dharmendra and Padmini:
If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.

Another video-clip from "KAAJAL", also picturized on Dharmendra and Padmini, featuring a rarely heard song of Mahendra Kapoor:
If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.

QUOTE(divyanjali @ Jul 14 2005, 01:15 AM) By any chance, are you a fan of Mahendra Kapoor in particular? Just curious. As and when I get a chance I'll upload songs and video-clips in this thread. If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.

Thank you Unni ji - ever since I heard these songs, I had wondered about their picturisation, considering they were such romantic songs. I have seen Kajal in what seems like a previous birth or something, I sure don't remember any of it!
The picture is so crisp, it was a treat, notwithstanding Padmini's pinker than pink lipstick and Dharam's flaring nostrils!! You must be the change you want to see in the world - Mahatma Gandhi |

Arguably the best duet of this duo, presumably recorded when Lata-ji and Rafi-sahab were not singing together:
If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.

QUOTE(bchatterjee @ Aug 5 2005, 02:00 AM) "Jaayen tau jaayen kahaan?", as Talat-sahab sang on his return to the stage, after we (the audience) clamoured for him during his absence. Had taken a short trip to India to visit my father who is in his 100th year. If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.
