The information I had was that the lyricist is Kulwant Jani. However, I could easily be wrong. May be someone who has access to the Geet Kosh can give proper credit.

Thanks a lot for re-uploading these splendid tracks. Actually I have lately been attracted to the compositions of Chitragupt-ji. I think he was not really promoted & should have got due credits for his contributions to Bollywood music. It would really be a nice gesture if you could slowly re-upload / release the films of this legend. I have lately heard his song, 'Bhagwan Tujhe Main Khat Likhta" from Manchala & I was stunned literally. Its an awesome haunting devotional melody. Can you please upload "Manchala" in fairly good quality if you have. Much appreciated for your contributions to this section.
