I am impressed with voice quality of both the singers and their combination is quite special. Durrani sahab's soft voice matches well with Shamshad's folksy tonality.

Mahesh, thanks for confirming. I was dobtful myself, but for some reason I had these songs tagged to G M Durrani. Do you know about the Dekhoji song? That might be a mistake from my side as well.

Strangely these two songs are also tagged as G.M. Durrani-Shamshad duets for me. Madhosh song in particularly sounds to me like G.M. Durrani. The Sanam song seems more like Batish though.
Maybe HFGK can clear the doubt. Any volunteers for confirming from it?

regarding the madhosh song,the information is based on vishwas nerurkar's book on madanmohan.it seems madanmohan never worked with g m durrani.

Strangely voice sounds like him and his filmography on many sites (like this one: http://indiafm-live.indiafm.com/celebrities/filmography/3231/index.html ) include Madhosh in the list.

Sita ji's upload which i noticed just now (http://www.hamaraforums.com/index.php?showtopic=70939#) also credits Durrani for the song. I am confused.
What does hfgk say about the two movie's songs?

Was listening to the wonderful Magroor duet Hum to tere dil ke bangle mein from Prof Surjit's site.

Here's the link for those interested.

Over 5 minutes of Shamshad and Durrani sahab together is sheer bliss!
Another lovely melody by the wonderful Bulo C Rani.

Shamshad ji seems to have sung for more than one actress in the song.

The Guidelines mention the following:-
Duplicate IDs not allowed. If an existing member registers for a new member id for no valid reason, the admins will reserve the right to terminate their membership with the deletion or ban of both the original and duplicate IDs. The reason has to be mentioned to the admin before creating the ID.

I'll explore that option. Thanks.
