QUOTE(pm2804 @ Jun 3 2005, 06:39 PM) It is nice to see Kannada song fans in HF. Being a Kannadiga from Bangalore(but working elsewhere) it is wonderful that Kannada Kasturi gets its due as far as melody is concerned. There is no dearth of Melodious songs in Kannada films like : 1.Mudala maneya muttina neerina yeraka va hoida nunnane .... 2. Nee bandu nintaga nakku nee nalidaga baara baara.. 3. Nanna ninna manavu serithu ninna nanna ... 4. Doni sagali munde hogali doora teerava serali .... etc etc .... If anybody can add some more melodious sogs I shall be grateful. I would love if some person can u/l any songs listed above. Prakash Hello Prakash, Yes, there are many Kannadigas all around, most of them are silent. But, for sure, they are around. I have most of those songs you're looking for and I'll upload them when I am done cleaning them up and remastering them. Meanwhile, Priya Kannadigare, enjoy these to classic SPB melodies. I can never get tired of them.....ever. Sirigannadam Gelge! Sham Song : Aaseya Bhava Movie : Mangalya Bhagya Music : Rajan-Nagendra Lyrics : Unknown Song : Naliva Gulabi Hoove Movie : Auto Raja Music : Rajan-Nagendra Lyrics : Chi. Udayashankar |

QUOTE(Mandrake @ May 28 2005, 06:53 PM) I have also been searching for the songs of Kokila for years. Yes, 'Sanje tangaaLi maisOkalu' by S Janaki is one of the songs in that film. I thought there was another one with the opening lyrics "Oy gum gum gum" also by S, Janaki. Would really appreciate any information on these songs. After all it was a Balu Mahendra film and as far as I know an SP record was released with these two songs. |
