Thanks Mujahid and Nimii for the complete song....i had completely forgotten about this sixth stanza...now when i heard it, i remembered...i have very fond memories of this song....i had sung it on stage in school...and to get the lyrics of the song, i had procured the movie lyrics booklet (those days you used to get those four-six pager folded booklets, which would give lyrics of the all the songs in the movie and the story of the movie in a manner that it would hide more than reveal...sort of a bikini story , if i could call it..you would get these booklets in stalls outside the cinema halls...wonder if you still get them!!!)....the booklet had all the stanzas...i would run to the radio to pick its tune every morning (while getting ready for school) when it would come on SLBC....in the morning at about 8 AM, there used to be programme on songs of new movies on SLBC....hmmm...those were also some days!!!!!

Some memories SKS... I've not been that fortunate considering I was only 3 when Guru left us all to keep his tryst with destiny You must have many more experiences & memories to share. Plz do. We would all more than happy to take them in.

Oh sure Mujahid and Nimii...i think we all should share such nostalgic memories...a trip down the memory lane is always so great....

Mujahid, i admire the fact that despite being just 22, and very much a contemporary of the current genre of music and singers, you adore Kishore Kumar so much and have such lovely collection of his songs...i do also empathise that if you had been another 10-15 years older, we would have had perhaps the greatest Guru fan in you....yes, being contemporary to your idol is a different experience all together...if i were to live any part of my life again, i would anyday want to live 70s again...

Well you are spot-on SKS. ..I kind of feel detached from the present generation simply because generally they don't appreciate the history & richness of Hindi Film Music(HFM)..It would not be incorrect if I was labelled a misfit Guru is absolutely peerless & there is no iota of doubt in my mind regarding his talent, versatility, & improvisation. Case in point: the Half Ticket song "Aake Seedhi Lagi Dil Pe".

Yes. my son niranjan.He keeps reading theposts and gives me advice on which smileys to use etc.
He has also made several uploads in the past himself to improve my ratio here.
He also gives me some dealy advice which if i write i will get bashed up..!!
Today he was not very happy to know Nimii called someone else the youngest memeber..!!!
