From my childhood, i was always enamoured with instrumental music. I had a friend from my school days who is not known for his scholastic aptitude. Endowed with a slow mind, we can almost see the cog wheels going round in round in his head, as he faces any simple question. Ofcourse, every answer used to start with a wide grin on his face. One sunday, i went to church with him and the moment he sat before the piano, i was surprised. As i watched , the music came alive...lively and full of vigour, as this little boy started to caress the keys of the piano in a sure yet loving way !! It was my first encounter with pure blissful instrumental music. How i wanted to step into his shoes then !!
![]() So, when ever i had this urge, i went on picking up cassettes and albums of instrumental music. I never tried to learn the nuances of any particular composer or instruments. So, i am at loss to explain any further.. ![]() Here is my first upload...Mystic Ocean Melodies featuring London Symphony Orchestra. With a back drop of waves hitting on the beach..and with guitar strumming great compositions of Strauss, Schubert, Chopin, Bach, Beethoven...i found this to be pure bliss. Hope you will enjoy it too.. ![]() Here is the link for downloading the album... http://www.4shared.com/file/243088672/1fb7...n_Melodies.html This post has been edited by simplefable: Apr 26 2010, 08:08 PM After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.
