Apologies to Ashaji for using her album name!!! Am sending a test message as I tried uling a song and got an error message.

At the risk of spoiling my 'consummate Asha fan' reputation lemme admit that as a kid I heard aa lautke aaja mere meet and thot it was Asha!!!! And carried that memory till adulthood and then found the song a few years back and wondered why I ever assumed so!!! My file of tu jahan mile mujhe had '2' marked on it--did not find a '1'. To my knowledge there is only one part of this song right?

There is certainly another version of this song by Nitin Mukesh (probably his first song in Hindi films, and a fairly bad rendition which was cut from the film). But I also recall a sad version of this song by Asha. Short verse if memory serves me well. I had seen the film years back and if it was in the film, I have it on tape somewhere. Do NOT ask me to find it now.
