This topic does not pertain to this forum but the outcome can so.....
Can someone tell me how to normalise volume within a track ie if the track has fluctuating volume how does one get the thing to one single volume?
An option in cool edit would help as that is the only thing I have at least 1% idea abt thanks to Talkzji. Or Goldwave maybe. I have a few songs that go that way--very irritating and frustrating. cry.gif

Do U understand the problem now? Thanks for the tips on fading in/out.

Just as in regard to you, I understand the problem but don't have a solution. blab.gif

I use Sound Forge, so let's wait for the CoolEdit experts, including the answer to " And why does the sw need 7 hrs to remove crackle"?

I use a program called DePopper which minimizes the 'big clicks' and then minimizes the 'small pops', in less than a minute. Even Goldwave has that function, but I've not found it effective. But surely, there's something odd about this "7-hour" business.

(I've moved your post from the "LEKH" song thread to this appropriate venue).

If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.
