Starting a new thread on what other famous celebrities have to say about shankar Jaikishan !
Frds SJ's music might be very popular but their "own names" are hardly known outside music circles or beyond genuine music fans.Media too continues to ignore SJ's contribution to Hindi film music and keeps on promoting selected few ! In this thread I will be posting famous comments made by celebrities and artists on Shankar jaikishan. These comments are enough proof to know the caliber of Shankar Jaikishan ! and their MAMMOTH contribution to Hindi film music ! People may ignore what a SJ fan says but they cant ignore what these legends have to say about SHANKAR JAIKISHAN ! Now read what Sitar maestro Pandit Ravi shankar has to say about Shankar Jaikishan. When told that he popularised Indian music. he clearly disagrees says instead it was SHANKAR JAIKISHAN who made Indian music popular all over the world. This is what even Ustaad akbar ali had said. I think THINGS shd be very m uch clear when two of India's biggest musical exports say that it was Shankar jaikishan who popularised Indian music on such a scale !
