Can someone clarify the above query of mine? I have raised this query because I have some evidence of it, but still am not 100% sure!!! thanks for bringing the two songs to the attention of many rafi sahab fans to this singer ahmed rushdi sahab. I have never heard of his name before and in the two songs there is a striking similarity to rafi sahab's 50's/60's voice. have googled/wikipedied about rushdi sahab and listened to one of his songs from mid 70's naseeb apna apna which apparently won awards, in this rushdi sahab sounds very different and no where near rafisahab, so it was the early years there was that similarity, rushdi saab also died at a very young age of 44, April 24, 1938 – April 11, 1983. |
