Can someone clarify the above query of mine? I have raised this query because I have some evidence of it, but still am not 100% sure!!! A Shamshad or Zohrabai may also have suggested a punjabi accent in singing urdu/hindi songs. But they were not copied nearly as much. But, that does not detract from his obvious ability as a singer. Dear I've lived whole of my life in Punjab and believe me Rafi's accent is very very clear without any deviation towards certain regional language. ============================== For me, listening to Mohammad Rafi is an addiction! |
