Today's posting starts with a beautiful private song - Soye Huwe Hain. This is Hindi version of Talat Saheb's Bangla song - Ghumero Chaya which was posted by me in post 79 above. I notice that credit for the Bangla version's music has been given to Kamal Dasgupta whereas the Hindi version is Talat Saheb himself. I think the Bangla version might have come out earlier which could have been re-used for the Hindi version later on. It also possible that the tagging in either of the versions is incorrect. I need to check this aspect.

I'm surprised to see the song Mukh Se Na Boloon - which is credited to Anil Biswas. I've never heard of this film Jalianwala Bagh Ki Jyoti. Do you have any more songs from this film? Kind Regards Faraaj Kind Regards Faraaj Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo There is only one better thing than music - live music. - Jacek Bukowski I hate music, especially when it's played. - Jimmy Durante No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible. - W.
