As per a record I saw Geeta Dutt first sang a song for the movie Bhakt Prahlad in 1946.

ere is a piece of information from the internet on songs sung by Geeta ji in 1971 Quote : In 1971, Geeta Dutt sang "O BONDHU SHONO" and "ANJAN DIYECHHI CHOKHEY" (MD = Swapan Jagmohan). These were published amongst the Puja songs of HMV. The songs became popular enough for HMV planned to record her songs for 1972 Puja also. The date of recording was fixed for 13/7/72. She had to cancel the recording because she did not feel well and died exactly a week later on 20/7/72. Can any one share the 2 Bengali songs "O bondhu shono" and "Anjan diyechhi chokhey" ?
