Saraju Ji
Just got back from vacation and saw your Pankaj Mullick uploads. I hadn't heard the two Private songs before so thanks for those. By the way, are you sure, KC Dey composed Prem Bansuria Bajao. I thought it was PM himself and wasn't aware that KC Dey also composed - if not, I'll change the MD label on my file. While on vacation I happened to lay my hands on two interesting Live mehfil recordings by PM where he sings in hindi and partially in bengali. You might enjoy these recordings (if you haven't heard them before). Both are mp3/128 kbps Private songs. Enjoy! Kind Regards Faraaj p.s If you have the original/proper Yaad Aaye Ke Na Aaye recording, I'll appreciate your uploading it. I don't know why I don't have it! Kind Regards Faraaj Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo There is only one better thing than music - live music. - Jacek Bukowski I hate music, especially when it's played. - Jimmy Durante No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible. - W. H. Auden |

Dear Faraaj-ji, Hope you had a good start to the new year. Aandhi's music director was K C Dey. So Prem Bansuriya Bajao is surely composed by K C Dey. Thanks for your uploads, although I had both these live-recorded songs in my collection. I too do not have the original version of "Yaad aaye ke na aaye". It is available commercially only on 78 rpm disc.I have seen the 78 a few years ago with a seller, but did not buy it. I intend to post more songs and information on PM shortly on this forum. Warm Regards, -Saraju This post has been edited by saraju: Jan 9 2009, 11:43 AM |
