Long ago, someone had uploaded on HF a non-film song tuned by Babul and sung by Asha Bhosle with some spoken interludes by Babul. I am not a great fan of the song - for reasons made clear in this thread on RMIM http://tinyurl.com/6alvxj - but Asha has sung it well and...well, it is relevant to the topic of this thread!

G S Sandhu told me in a separate thread on RMIM that this song is one side of an EP record titled "Yaad-e-Mehboob". The other side apparently has a song sung by Rafi with spoken interludes by Tabassum. I have no idea what the latter song is - if anyone knows/has it, please do help out.
