Hello all.................Happy new year

This is my first posting on the Kishore forum
I will try to u/l rare Guru tracks from my collection................not sure if they been u/l b4.

I am a dedicated Rafi fan, i grew up listening to Kishore kumar of the 80's..............my era was late 70's and most of the 80's
Baically i was crazy over hindi music when the VHS Video came home which was about 1981-82 for my family.
We used to have loads of vinyl and tapes full of Rafi, Kishore and Mukesh.

Here are a few Guru tracks..............hope you like them.

Small world indeed. The site you gave the URL for is a very good friend of mine, Vijay Kumar aka VK. An excellent keyboard player and very knowledgeable especially in Carnatic music. About 8 years ago we played Ilayanila on stage which was our first program together and for this song, he gave me each and every note for the guitar lead over the phone!!

Another trivia for Ilayanila song (neele neele ambar), during an interview recently SPB mentioned that it took 21 takes for the guitarist to get the song right!!! My reaction was "only 21"????
