I feel all of us must have felt the same when trying to type something for this occasion. Though the heart pounds heavily with so much to say, putting them down in words seems the most difficult task. I have felt this emotion other times too, and only one attribute is common to all such occasions - LOVE.
The love for a person, who was already no more when I was born, has been with me through all times since I was captivatated by his voice and nature. Whatever the mood I am in, there are always a song or two by Rafi Saab that I feel he must have sung for me. I know this is true for all of us. Wishing a very happy birthday to Rafi Saab! To take from one of his songs - "Mera to jo bhi kadam hai, woh teri raah mein hai, Ke tu kahin bhi rahe tu meri nigah mein hai. Chhupa hua sa mujhi mein hai tu kahin ay dost, Meri hasi mein nahin to, tu meri aah mein hai." |
