A discovery thanks to Urzung Khan sahab
The tune of the song "Taliyon na taale" from Mangal Phera (1949) was used by S D Burman sahab in Baazi for the song "Dekh ke akeli mohe barkha sataye" Another instance of tune of an original song sung by Geetaji used in Hindi for another song, again sung by Geeta ji. (Sadhna's "Tora Manawa kyon ghabaraye" being the first known to me so far) Thanks Urzung sahab Cheers Parag Please visit www.geetadutt.com

Just like Bengali, I understand very little of Gujarathi too. (That does not stop me from enjoying the songs of my beloved singer in any ways..!) We can request our friends who can understand Gujarathi language for help on the wordings and translation. Dev ji bhai, can you help please ? Cheers Parag Please visit www.geetadutt.com
