Generally speaking , a song based on any raga(s) has at least 5 notes . we are going off topic { this is Shreya forum } Anyway ... Maestro IR has been experimenting with many Ragas . Kalyani appears to be a favorite for the composers . Kalaivaniye song from film Sindhubhairavi (Tamil) was composed using only aaroahanam of Kalyani Raga .
