A very interesting point to note here is that Ashaji sings along with Rajkumariji and Ashaji individually sings the last - third stanza in this film version but this third stanza is eliminated in the 78 rpm version due to time constraints of 3 minutes or so
Consequently her name is not credited in the 78 rpm version but credited as a solo by Rajkumariji.

Yes I checked the VN book. It is listed as the first duet of Rajkumari and Asha. The only other duet listed is "ho tujhko mubarak teri taqdeer badalne wali hai" from the 1955 film Bindiya--music Snehal Bhatkar--do u have this song
BTW does anyone here have Asha's duet with her daughter Varsha from the film sansani (1983)--not a great song I believe but certainly of value to an Asha fan.
