All songs do seem to be semi-classical.
There is suppose to be H. Khan Mastana song. http://www.earthmusic.net/hindi-film-songs...p;movie=savdhan So My question is when did transition from Urdu poetic songs to semi classical songs because early on any song that is talking about hindu mythology was written by another lyricist. Granted this song is standard krishna theme without much complication in terms of lyrical content. |

Darshan pyaase and Man Sheetal (Jeevan Jyoti 1953) have heavy use of sanskritised Hindi , and the second one refers to Raghunandan and Janak nandini. "This isn't right, this isn't even wrong." Wolfgang Pauli (1900-1958) "There are no facts, only interpretations." Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) |

Burman or some other MD has said this either in Guru Dutt documentary or some article I have read in the past. |
