Hi All,
Some thing different now: The Salilda composition from the film 'Eik Gao Ki Kahaani', sung by Talat Saheb, is one of my all time favorites: Raat nay kyaa kyaa khwaab dikhaaye Rang bharay sou jaal bichhaaye AnkheN khulee to, sapnay Tu_Tay Reh gaye gham kay kaaley saaye Raat nay kyaa kyaa khwaab dikhaaye ... I dreamt of completely new words, sung by Talat saheb, on the same tune. Any of the HM members, who can sing, may try singing these words in the same tune, and if possible upload their recorded song here. Here are the words: Humnay bhi afsaanay su_naaye Kuch logoN_kay naam jo aaye Labz ye kaapeN, hoNTh silay thay Khulay jo saamnay jaam ye aaye Humnay bhi afsaanay su_naaye ... Kaun iss dilko phir behelaataa? Bhujhay diye ko phirsay jalaataa? (2) Shee_shay say Tu_Tay, phirbhi khelay Raakh say koi dil kyuN lagaaye? Humnay bhi afsaanay su_naaye ... (Yeh agli lines MAI (jaam) say kahi jaa rahi hai) Tum kyuN meray yaar banay ho? Shaam kaa kyuN deedaar baney ho? (2) Mujhpay sitam tum naa karnaa kam Gham ki aadat Yu_hee na jaaye Humnay bhi afsaanay su_naaye ... Ab kyuN unkaa zikr KareiN Hum? Kyaa baaki jo unse kaheiN hum? This is a totally new idea. Great you thought of writing new lyrics to the same tune and that way it imparts energy among the singers to record it afresh.
If you come up with any of such Kishore Kumar songs please do provide. |
