Hi All,
I have being seeing & hearing songs in my dreams of and on. On the rare occasions when i remember the song after waking up, i have tried to put it on paper, both the notations as well as the lyrics. These songs have never existed otherwise. You call this a gift. Some such songs, i have had them sung by professional singers (of course those that i have an access to and can afford). I am uploading one of the song. This song that i dreamt of was sort of typical Hindi film piano song. The hero was Randhir Kapoor and it was sung by Kishore Kumar! Here it is: The lyrics and composition is mine. Song: Kehna hai unse ye kehna Singer: Jitendra Abhyankar Bit: 56kbps (Sorry about that, but still the quality is good) Duration: 03:53 Year of recording: 2000 Your comments are most welcome. Amod p.s. Only in 2002, i dreamt of one more stanza from the same song (a slow & sad one) so it did not get included in the above song. Log, ek taraf, maY ko sharaab kehtey hai Uss chasm-e-saaQee shaY ko janaab kehtey hai / |

Hi All,
This is a song which has not been formally recorded in a studio. (it is without orchestra). A brief background about this dream and the song is necessary. Here it is: Its a marriage that i am attending. I have dinner and leave. It is dark outside. I leave the wedding hall and am passing the parked cars, on the way to the main road, where i can hire a cab. As i walk along the dark path, i see some kids laughing and singing in a van. The van has its back side open. As i pass the van, i realize that they were playing antakshari (a song game) I pause. They are little boys & girls aged around 6 to 7 years. And now, it is a boy's turn to sing a song. And he sings this song! And wow its actually Lata Mangeshkar singing in her vintage voice. The said song is extremely difficult to sing. Only the very accomplished singers can sing this. Luckily i knew someone who can do so. He is a disciple of Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar. His name is Mukund Phansalkar. Mind you, there is no orchestration in this song. Amod Here are the lyrics: Chandaa! chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa. O Chandaa! (#2) Phirse aanaa, jab woh aaye; Dil ko abhi naa behlaanaa! O Chandaa! Chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa. O Chandaa! Raat bitaayi, rotein rotein Roothi hai nindiyaa aatey aatey Saaraa samaaN yeh ruk gayaa gaatey Tu hi chubhan pehchaaney naa! (1) Pyaare musafir kaise sapney? Tujh mein hi dekhun mere apney Dil ki yeh dhadkan lag gayi rukney Ab to piyaa se milaa denaa! (2) Chandaa; chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa. O Chandaa! Chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa, chalaa jaa. O Chandaa! As you listen to this, just imagine Lata Mangeshkar's vintage voice.. Your comments are most welcome.
