on these celestial beauties!
Only some are illustrations; the rest are real. This is the most detailed true-color image of the entire Earth to date. During the solar minimum, there's very little activity, and only a handful of sunspots. During the solar maximum, there can be frequent and powerful coronal mass ejections and X-ray flares. Don't be sorry Noorie . It happens to all of us.
Let me start with a bit of (educated) guesswork: 1. Earth 2. a nebula (pls name it) 3. a nebula (name again) 4. Venus? 5. The Beehive cluster in Cancer 6. Saturn's rings and Titan (?) 7. a nebula (Butterfly?) 8. A nebula (Orion?) 9. A galaxy (Andromeda?) 10. Pyramids of Giza? 11. Arcturus in the southern sky 12. Solar Eclipse (false image - digitally produced) 13. Megrez in the Ursa Major 14. Horsehead nebula? 15. ? 16. ? 17. Artist's image of Sedna? 18. Spiral galaxy in Ursa major? 19. Milky way 20. moon 21. phases of moon 22. A-rings of saturn and one moon (Titan again?) 23. Supernova? 24. The terminator line on the moon 25. repeats Self - belief is the most potent force.

I am just an amateur at this. But it is such a magical world out there, I just had 2 take a curious peek. Thanks so much 4 helping me out Mandrake. I was in such a hurry the other day that I messed it all up; and although I've identified several of the pictures, it's not possible 2 do that 4 all of them in the same post. I am so sorry. The other option is to re-upload them again in a new post along with the tags, which is quite a bother; I think I've learnt a very good lesson 2day. To make up 4 that somewhat, I've added a few new pictures along with the old post, this time with info tags. And there are still a few more left, I'll try 2 upload those maybe today; but never 2gether and in a bunch!! That's what got me into this trouble!
